Clyde Allen Tucker (01-28-2016)
Funeral services for Clyde Allen Tucker, 85, were held at
10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Zion Hill Baptist
Church with Bro. Connie Ward officiating. Burial was in
Zion Hill Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral
Home in Farmerville.
Mr. Tucker, a retired pipefitter and carpenter with IMCAngus,
went to his heavenly
home January 22, 2016. Mr.
Tucker was married to
the love of his life, Rose
Neal Tucker, for 66 years. A
lifelong resident of Union
Parish, Mr. Tucker was a
faithful member of Zion
Hill Baptist Church where
he served as a Deacon and
Sunday School Superintendent
for many years.
He was a devoted father,
brother and grandfather.
He was preceded in death
by: His parents, Jewel Allen
and Susie Mae Hudson
Tucker; two sisters – Dawn
Brummett and Melba Sue
Tucker; and granddaughter,
Left to cherish his memory is: His wife, Rose Neal Tucker;
three sons - Scotty Dale Tucker & Dianna Dyer of Avery,
Texas, Terry Allen and wife Jeanette Tucker of Baton
Rouge and Randy Steven and wife Epie Tucker of Dayton,
Texas; three sisters – Patty Dumas of Farmerville, Ann
Stuckey of Longview, Texas and Nan Roan of Longview,
Texas; four grandchildren – Scott and Marie Tucker, Kirk
Tucker, Kim Tucker and John and Wendi Tucker; seven
great-grandchildren – Haley, Destiny, Alec, Cassie, Cara,
Avery and Ainsley; and a host of step grandchildren and
Pallbearers were Kirk Tucker, John Tucker, Scott
Tucker, Ray Hammons, John Neal and Garrett Brummett.
Visitation was from 5-8 p.m on Sunday, January 24, 2016,
at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville.
