Funeral services for
Mrs. Iva Medlin Pardue,
101, were held at 10 a.m.
on Monday, December 21,
2015, at Marion Methodist
Church with Bro. Bubba
Hoggatt officiating. Interment
was in the Old
Lapile cemetery under the
direction of Farrar Funeral
Home in Farmerville.
Mrs. Pardue, a homemaker,
went to her heavenly
home December 18,
2015. She attended Jack
Mayfield Memorial Methodist
Church and Marion
Methodist Church. She
played the piano at both
churches. She was a loving
mother, grandmother and also helped raise her brothers
and sisters.
She was preceded in death by: Her husband, Cecil Pardue;
a son, Cecil Pardue, Jr.; her parents, Milas and Maude
Turner Medlin; as well as four brothers, two sisters and
one grandson.
Left to cherish her memory is: A son, Robert Pardue and
wife Ellie of Clarksville, Tenn..; three daughters Nellie
Dugat and husband Joe of Huttig, Ark., Sandra Kay Berry
and husband Ronald of Strong, Ark. and Judy Gantz and husband Alan of Strong, Ark..; a brother, Toby Medlin of
Marion; a sister, Jean Chrisman and husband Thomas of
Marion.; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, two
great great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces,
nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers were Greg Miller, William Haen, Greg
Johnson, Greg Medlin, Steven Medlin and Ronnie Joyner.
Visitation was at 9 a.m. until time of the service Monday,
December 21, 2015, at Marion Methodist Church.
