H. Veatch, 86, were held at
10 a.m. on Monday, March 23,
2015, at Marion First Baptist
Church of Marion with Bro.
Bubba Hoggatt officiating.
Burial followed at Evergreen
Cemetery.
Mr. Veatch, a retired driller,
went to his heavenly home
March 19, 2015. He was a
member and deacon of First
Baptist Church of Marion.
He loved his family, frying
fish and his Church family.
He was preceded in death
by: His daughter Judy Lee
Bearden; grandson, Zachary
Earl Neel; brother Thomas “Bud” Veatch; and sister Polly
Adkins.
Left to cherish his memory is: His wife of 65 years, Jo A.
Veatch; two sons – Randy Veatch and wife Tonya of Farmerville
and Jeff Veatch and wife Chasten of Ruston; three
daughters – Linda Reeves and husband Billy of Marion,
Becky Busby and husband Wayne of Bernice and Debbie
DeWitt and husband Daniel of Dry Prong; two brothers – Bro.
Johnny A. Veatch and wife Sue of Texarkana and Wayne
Veatch and wife Clara of Bossier City; 17 grandchildren; 24
great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews
and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Earl Neel, Adam Gray, Ben Moore, Jonathon
Dumas, Josh Harris, Richard Neel, Joe Reeves, Tony
Reeves and Patrick Smith.
Visitation was 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at First
Baptist Church of Marion.
