February 27, 2015, at Rocky
Branch Baptist Church
near Farmerville. Rev.
Harry Woodson McGuffee
officiated. Interment followed
at Freeman Family
Cemetery under the
direction of Farrar Funeral
Home in Farmerville.
Sharon Freeman Goldman
was born September
17, 1947, in Farmerville and
passed away on Monday,
February 23, 2015.
She was preceded in death by: Her parents George and
Dorothy Freeman.
She is survived by: Companion Leo “Buddy” Ashley of
Sterlington; two daughters – Melissa Toyas and husband
Rolando of Nashville, Tenn. and Kelly Pack and husband
Andrew of Texarkana, Texas; brother David Freeman
and wife Angela of Farmerville; sister Regina Gilmore
of Bernice; aunt Jean Fiebelkorn and husband Jack of
Monroe; three grandchildren – Allison, Cate, and John
Preston; two nieces, Tori and Courtney; nephew Mason;
great nephew Brycen; as well as numerous cousins.
Sharon was a graduate of LA Tech University, was a
retired hairdresser and was a restaurant manager for
many years.
Pallbearers were Joshua Whitner, Jerrell Gates, Ronald
Gene Gates, Kerry Wayne Ashley, Von Freeman and
Kerry Freeman.
Visitation was held Thursday at Rocky Branch Baptist
Church, Farmerville.
