“Junior” Scarborough, 70,
were held at 10 a.m. on
Saturday, February 21, 2015,
at Farrar Funeral Home
in Farmerville with Bro.
Robin Cox officiating assisted
by Elvia Fife. Burial
followed in Reppond Cemetery
in the Dean community
under the direction of
Farrar Funeral Home.
Mr. Scarborough, a retired
oil field consultant,
passed away February 19,
2015. He was a member of
Haile Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by: His parents Sim Sr. and
Ruth Lee Scarborough; sisters – two sisters Dollie Perot
and Judy Fife; and brother Jimmie Scarborough.
Left to cherish his memory is: His wife of 48 years,
Janie Scarborough; mother-in-law Jean Smith; two daughters:
Michelle and fiancée Joel and Jan and husband,
Jason; four grandsons – Chase, Josh, Slade and Dalton; a
granddaughter, Emma; one great grandson Brayden; as
well as numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Pallbearers were Matthew Smith, Justin Smith, Mason
Smith, Jerrod Baker, Jonathan Hodge, and Cody Pace.
Honorary pallbearer was Logan Fife.
Visitation was Friday, February 20, 2015, at Farrar
Funeral Home.
The family expresses special thanks to the doctors
and nurses who provided care for Junior: nurse Rhonda
Walker, Dr. Archie and Fresenius Dialysis Center. A special
thank you to Dr. Cindy Bimle and Dr. Stuart Melton for all
their loving care over the years.
