Robert H. Wilson (11-20-2014)
Photo of Robert H. Wilson Robert H. Wilson, 80, of Camden, Ark., passed away on November 14, 2014, at Pine Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center. Robert was born on September 21, 1934 to James M. Wilson and Mattie Elizabeth Puska Wilson of Waldo, He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Maul Road Church of Christ in Camden.
Robert is preceded in death by: His parents, James and Mattie Elizabeth Wilson; his brother, Paul Wilson; and sisters Irma Ruth Brogdon and Mary Alice Thomas.
He is survived by: His wife of 56 years, Barbara Perry Wilson of Camden; two daughters – Cindy Besancon and her husband Brad of Benton, Ark. and Robin Gray and her husband, Gary of Farmerville; grandsons Heston Besancon and his wife Courtney and Ryne Besancon and his wife Jessica of Benton and Wesley Gray of Farmerville; a great-granddaughter, Mattie Beth Besancon of Benton; a brother, Morgan Wilson and his wife Sue of Longview, TX; and many nieces and nephews.
The family received friends at Proctor Funeral Home funeral home 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2014. Services were at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2014, at the funeral home, followed by interment at Liberty Cemetery near Louann.
Memorials may be made to the Maul Road Church of Christ Food Pantry, Ouachita County Medical Center Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of the Pine Hills Nursing Center, Ouachita County Medical Center Hospice, and to Dr. Erin Goss for the compassionate and loving care Robert received.
