Joyan ‘Jeannie’ Yade (08-14-2014)
Joyan “Jeannie” Yade went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 9, 2014, in Farmerville.
She was born on December 21, 1942 in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, to Marion and S. Y. Robison.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Jeannie was blessed by God to have lived in many places, including Florida, Washington and California. She loved to travel and felt blessed to have been so many places. She lived most of her adult life in Gretna but Farmerville had been her home since 1999.
Jeannie is survived by special friends, Randall and Robert Locke. She is also survived by her extended family at Franklin Street Baptist Church, where she was a member. Jeannie loved the Lord and loved to sing about Him.
Pallbearers were Hugh Lavender, Charles Johnson, Jr., Troy Hart, Scott Taylor, Larry Allen and Ricky Johnson. Honorary pallbearers were Mark Johnson, Robert Locke and the members of the Young at Heart Sunday School Class.

Funeral services were held 10 a.m. on Monday, August 11, 2014, at Franklin Street Baptist Church in Farmerville with Bro. Matt Grantham officiating. Visitation was Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the church. Burial was in the Farmerville City Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville, LA.
