Ima Ray Moss (05-01-2014)
Graveside services for Mrs. Ima Ray “Sam” Moss, 81, of Farmerville were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Crossroads Cemetery with Bro. Glyn Nale officiating, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home.
Mrs. Moss, a homemaker, went to her heavenly home April 24, 2014. She was a caring mom and grandmother, a good cook and she loved to fish. She was a member of Rocky Branch Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by: Her parents Forrest and Essel Pardue; a brother, J. T. Pardue; husbands Whitman D. Smith and Jim Moss; and special friend, George Eubanks.
Left to cherish her memory are: Her three sons – Stan Smith and wife Roslyn, Scott Smith and wife Suzette, and Sidney “Hank” Smith; four daughters – Sandra Ward and husband Brock, Cindy Smith, JoAnn Stephens and husband Ron and Penny Takewell and husband Mitch; brother Jim Pardue and wife Glenda; two sisters – Marie Pardue Nolan and Patsy Reeves; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and special friends Arnita Laster and Teresa Silmon Smith.
Visitation was Friday at Farrar Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were her grandsons.
The family expresses appreciation to special nurses Brandie Russell and Shamia Banks and to the staff of Glenwood Hospital.
