|Bell, Hollis to wed|
Mr. and Mrs. James Stephen Hollis of Ruston are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Maridith Jean, of Mobile, Alabama, formerly of Ruston, to Adam Phillip Bell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Damian Marlon Bell, of Mobile, Alabama.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Evelyn Brantley Washam of Farmerville, and the late Arthur Chesley Washam and Clifton and Jean Brigman Hall of Sterlington, and the late Harrell Hollis. Adam is the grandson of Audrey Scott Pierce of New Orleans and Augustus Joseph Pierce of New Orleans and Emma Ricard Bell of New Orleans and the late Warren Anthony Bell, Sr.
Maridith is a graduate of Cedar Creek High School and Abilene Christian University with a degree in history and of the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone with a degree in the culinary arts. She is currently enrolled at the University of South Alabama in the College of Medicine and will graduate in 2017.
Adam is a graduate of W. P. Davidson High School and the University of South Alabama with a degree in gerontology. He is currently employed at Rockbridge Wealth Management in Daphne, Alabama, as a financial consultant.
The couple will marry in New Orleans in the summer of 2014.
