|Smith to wed Burroughs Sept. 7|
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lee “Dusty” Burroughs III of Farmerville announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Leigh Burroughs of West Monroe to Justin Seth Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Steven Smith, Sr., of Mangham. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Linda Burroughs Bain of West Monroe, the late Reverend Frank Burroughs, Jr., and the late R.E. “Coke” Johnson and Mrs. Clemmie Lockwood Johnson of Farmerville.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Ruby Smith and the late Carey Ellis Smith, Sr., of Mangham and Mr. & Mrs. Eugene Free, Sr., of Archibald. Kendal Renae, Justin’s three-year-old daughter, is also excited about her daddy marrying “Leigh”.
Heather is a graduate of Farmerville High School and a graduate of South Arkansas University at El Dorado with an Associates of Science Degree as a physical therapist assistant. She currently works as a physical therapist assistant at Ridgecrest Community Care Center in West Monroe.
Justin is a graduate of Mangham High School and graduated with a 4.0 from UTI at Houston, Texas with a degree in Auto/Diesel and Industrial Technology. He currently works as a diesel mechanic at Diesel Specialist of Northwest LA in Monroe.
The wedding ceremony is to be held Sept. 7 at 3 p.m. at Beulah Baptist Church in Farmerville with a reception following.
Following their honeymoon in Hot Springs, Ark., the couple will make their home in Mangham.
